Import Logs Into Database
The purpose of this dialog is to enable the events held in old log files to be loaded into a log database.
The events from each selected log file are read in and then written to the database.
Options
- Select
Select one or more log files to import using a file open dialog box.
Selected files will appear in the Files list box.
- Import
Begin the Import operation.
The progress bar will be adjusted as the operation proceeds.
- Cancel
With large log files the import operation can take a considerable amount of time.
The button enables the operation to be terminated. Any events loaded into the database during the operation will remain there.
